What is Chiropractic Care?

Chiropractic is a drug-free, non-invasive, hands-on approach to disorders related to the spine, nerves, muscles, connective tissues and joints of the body; the Neuro-Musculo-Skeletal system. Low back and neck pain are the most common reasons that people will seek chiropractic care but it is also very effective for other areas of the body including shoulders, knees, hips and ankles.  Any area with muscles, nerves and joints!

Chiropractic care involves educating patients on self-care and lifestyle strategies that can optimize their mobility and health.  It also involves educating patients on the nature of their injuries and what they should expect over the course of treatment.

Chiropractic care is a way that you can come to understand the nature of your injury, take an informed role in treatment and prevention and get back to an active lifestyle as soon as possible.  Doing the same thing week after week for months and months does not fall into our definition of chiropractic.
