Dr. Leah Stadelmann
Dr. Leah Stadelmann is a founder and co-owner of MoveRight Squamish. Leah was born and raised in Ontario like so many who are now fortunate enough to call Squamish home. Having fallen in love with the West Coast while completing her undergraduate degree in Human Kinetics at UBC, it was a no-brainer to move back West after graduating Summa Cum Laude from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto in 2007.
She opened a chiropractic clinic with her partner Dr. Paul Fleming in 2009 and for more than a decade, they have been practicing in Squamish. Leah utilizes a multi-modal approach to patient care, including soft-tissue therapy, manual adjustments and functional rehabilitation… yep, that’s a fancy way to say exercise! She focuses on active care and education with patients, in order to help speed up recovery and optimize function – so they can participate in all of the amazing activities in Squamish.
Growing up, Leah was a competitive athlete in Figure Skating and Swimming. As such, she is no stranger to injury – both traumatic and overuse, and early on, learned the importance of having a good team of practitioners for support. These days, she continues to keep active, participating in Squamish’s backyard activities; an avid hiker, trail runner and skier, and recently she has been introduced to the wonderful world of mountain biking.
